Since its organization in 1911, Saints' Church has been blessed with strong music program in the English Cathedral/Collegiate tradition. Strong congregational hymn-singing is bolstered by a fine choir of professionals and volunteers who lead the congregation in the singing of canticles at Morning Prayer and familiar Mass settings (Merbecke, Willan) at Holy Communion.  The choir also constantly expands its repertoire of more challenging Mass settings with a balance between continental greats such as Mozart and Haydn and standard English composers such as Stanford, Leighton, and Oldroyd.  A varied assortment of motets and anthems are offered weekly and the seasons of the liturgical calendar are observed appropriately.  Several fine organist/choirmasters have led this ministry, including James Irvine, Catherine Robinson, Thomas Whittemore, Peter Conte, Robert Gallagher, George Tobias, Franklin Zigman and Dr. Norman Caldwell-Coombs. In 2012 Dr. Valentin Radu became the director of music. Under his leadership our tradition of excellence has been strengthened and we continue to offer a program that seeks to assist the faithful in their worship of Almighty God.
